🐟 Easy Texas Roadhouse Salmon (30 Minutes)

📝 Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (fresh, skin-on or skinless)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½–1 tsp salt (to taste)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar (optional, for that restaurant-style glaze)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

🔥 Instructions

1. Prep the Salmon

Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. This helps get that nice sear.

2. Make the Seasoning Mix

In a small bowl, combine:

  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • brown sugar

3. Season

Brush salmon with olive oil or melted butter, then rub the seasoning mix evenly on both sides.

4. Cook (Pan-Seared Method – Best Flavor)

  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat
  • Add a little oil
  • Place salmon skin-side down
  • Cook 4–5 minutes
  • Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes

👉 In the last minute, add garlic and lemon juice to the pan and spoon it over the salmon.

🔥 Alternative: Oven Method

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  • Bake salmon for 12–15 minutes
  • Broil for 2 minutes at the end for a slightly crispy top

🍽️ Serving Ideas (like Texas Roadhouse)

Serve with:

  • Steamed broccoli 🥦
  • Mashed potatoes 🥔
  • Rice or seasoned fries
  • Extra lemon on top

💡 Pro Tips

  • Don’t overcook: salmon should be flaky but juicy
  • Use fresh lemon juice for best taste
  • Add a tiny drizzle of honey for a sweet glaze twist
